About Highland Mint

The Highland Mint is a leading manufacturer of officially licensed sports memorabilia and collectibles. As the official manufacturer of the Super Bowl Flip Coin, we create premium collectibles that celebrate the biggest moments in sports for fans and collectors across the country.

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Production Assistant to join our in-house design team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a career in graphic design and production. You'll work alongside experienced designers to create and prepare artwork for officially licensed sports memorabilia while supporting daily production operations.

Responsibilities:

Graphic Design

  • Assist with creating and editing artwork for officially licensed sports memorabilia and collectibles.
  • Prepare production-ready files using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Create layouts for new products and update existing designs.
  • Edit photographs, graphics, logos, and typography for print production.
  • Ensure artwork meets brand guidelines and licensing requirements.

Production Support

  • Assist the Production Coordinator with daily production tasks.
  • Prepare artwork for printing and reproduction.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy before production.
  • Organize and maintain digital artwork files and production assets.
  • Collaborate with the design and production teams to meet project deadlines.
  • Support special projects and other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Creative with a strong eye for design and attention to detail.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a production-focused design environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of graphic design experience or completion of college-level graphic design coursework.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Basic understanding of print production processes.
  • Experience preparing files for commercial printing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working with typography, photo editing, and layout design.
  • A portfolio showcasing design work is required for the interview.
